Hello everyone, this is Zheyi Training
I've sorted it out for everyone today
Academician Ning Guang recommended four hot drinks
A must-drink for those staying at home during COVID-19
,
Soak lemon in warm water
Suitable for: mild symptoms or only a little nasal congestion
Production process
Wash the lemon peel with salt, cut it into thin slices and remember to remove the seeds.
Put the lemon slices into a cup and pour in an appropriate amount of warm water. If you are afraid of the sourness, you can add a little honey. Use 2 to 3 slices of lemon for a cup of water. Remember to soak it in warm water. If the water is too hot, it is easy to cause the loss of vitamins and the taste will be rather astringent.
,
Scallion white, brown sugar and ginger soup
Applicable to: fever but no sweating
Ginger is rich in gingerol, which can help dispel cold and promote blood circulation. The principle of action of the white part of scallions is very similar to that of ginger, and it can also have the effect of inducing sweating.
,
Ingredients: 3 slices of ginger, 20 grams of brown sugar, 2 sections of scallion white, 300 milliliters of water
Production method
First, put the ginger and the white part of the scallion into the pot, then pour in about 300 milliliters of water. After boiling over high heat, simmer for another 20 minutes.
Then add the brown sugar and continue to cook for 5 minutes until the brown sugar is completely dissolved. Then turn off the heat and drink it while it's still hot.
,
Stewed pear with rock sugar
Applicable to: Dry cough
Stewed pears with rock sugar are a very classic folk remedy for coughing. Pears are cold in nature and are widely recognized as fruits that "nourish Yin, generate body fluids, moisten the lungs and relieve cough", with snow pears and duck pears being the best choices. Academician Ning Guang also suggested that if there are lily bulbs, almond powder and honeysuckle at home, they can also be added to cook together, and the effect will be better.
,
Production method
Peel and wash the pear. Cut it in half from the top one-third, remove the core in the middle, and be careful not to break the flesh.
Put an appropriate amount of rock sugar into the pear pit, cover it with the part just cut off, and fix it with a toothpick.
Put it in the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes. Then turn off the heat. Let it cool down and it's ready to eat.
Upgraded version: If you have lily bulbs, almond powder, honeysuckle and the like at home, you can add some more and stew them with pears for drinking.
,
Boil kumquats in water
Kumquats are rich in vitamin C and are a seasonal fruit of this season, available everywhere. Among the folk dietary therapy prescriptions, kumquat tea has always been a classic "good remedy for coughing". However, it should be noted that kumquats contain a relatively high amount of organic acids, so it is not recommended to drink them on an empty stomach.
Academician Ningyuan's recommended recipe: Kumquat water
Ingredients: 3 to 4 kumquats
Production method
Soak the kumquats in light salt water for 30 minutes, then take them out, wash them clean, cut them in half, and keep the seeds.
Pour the processed kumquats into the pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

The above hot drinks are for reference only
